I have dined at other Doppio Zeros before but the Southdown branch is by far my favourite. The service is excellent, regardless of the waiter who serves you. The food, oh my Lord,the food is always absolutely breathtaking. If I could have it my way, I would pack my bags and move into this restaurant and just dine there for the rest of my life.

Always an amazing time at Doppio Southdowns. Had a pre birthday supper and loved everything. Establishment had no electricity but we were served to the best of their capacity. I definitely need to return
Doppio Zero Southdowns, is a very picturesque, almost sophisticated restaurant where one can drop in for a wide range of meals, including their vegan offerings, as well as to savour their in-house bakery treats. Really enjoyed the Lemon Meringue Tart. Also, I loved the warm glow of their clay oven, churning out aromatic pizzas. A gas heater is also available for cold weather. The beautifully designed restaurant boasts several dining areas with comfortable seating, most with good views, as well as a full bar service. I'm really impressed with the tasteful decor in the super-spacious, horseshoe-shaped interior, especially with the huge arch with downlights, up in the high ceiling. Bathrooms are well-appointed. It's a great dining venue, indeed.
After years of visiting Doppio Zero, I can confidently say that it is top-notch. This restaurant always holds its standard very high with great service, food, and atmosphere. It's great for any occasion. Birthdays, dates, breakfast, meetings, lunch meet-ups, dinner with friends, anything you can think of. The pasta is great, the pizza is delicious and the side dishes are fantastic! Even the sardines! I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you haven't yet! The atmosphere will leave you calm and intrigued, and this place is surely an enjoyment to visit.
Food was delicious and so were the drinks. Our waitress did at a stage disappear for a while and we had to request another waitress call her for us. But other than that everything was really nice. There were sprinklers to cool everyone down aswell as it was quite a hot day.
I love coming here for fresh food with understated flavours. Good for a date or family outing. You can decide whether to go pricey or keep it affordable
Recently visited. And I must say probably my favorite spot in Pretoria. The food in always of immaculate standard. The service is always quick and the staff is exceptional. Im sure the group is great, but irene should be the benchmark. Welldone Doppio.
